Emergency Dental Care

Re: emergency dental care

I want to reassure everyone that it is SAFE to go to your dentist for emergency care. Non-urgent care was suspended due to shortages of PPE and to comply with social distancing. Infection control measures in dental operatories have always been very good, developed to prevent cross contamination of serious pathogens like tuberculosis, HIV and hepatitis.

If you have pain bad enough to take painkillers, wakes you up at night or pulsates like a heartbeat please call your dentist.

If you have palpable or visual swelling, with or without pain, please call your dentist.

PLEASE, NO “HOME REMEDIES” OR SOCIAL MEDIA “CURES”

Feel free to contact me if you have any dental questions! I only have one thing on my schedule at the moment, something I haven’t been able to do for 38 years……..paint my fingernails!!!

Cheers,
Andrea Adamson
