emergency dental-updated

Re: emergency dental care-updated March 24th, 2020

The Manitoba Dental Association has recommended all dentists restrict patient care to emergency care. “Emergency treatment may include treatment due to infection, acute pain or oral-facial trauma or bleeding.”

Please try to call your regular dentist as they have your dental and medical histories on file.

If you are unable to reach your regular dentist there is an emergency dentist available in Brandon at 204-726-2281

NO WALK-INS PLEASE

If you have pain bad enough to take painkillers, wakes you up at night or pulsates like a heartbeat please call your dentist.

If you have palpable or visual swelling, with or without pain, please call your dentist.

If you have a traumatic injury please call your dentist.

PLEASE, NO “HOME REMEDIES” OR SOCIAL MEDIA “CURES”

For those of you who are missing (or not really missing) your regular dental hygiene visits:

“You need to floss more”
“You should eat less crap”
“Make sure you brush for a full 2 minutes”

You’re welcome,
Andrea
